As the international tennis event of the largest scale and highest professional level in Northeast China, after three-year development, Dalian Open has won more appraise and applause in this golden autumn. WTA 125K Series event has been successfully held in Dalian for 3 consecutive years. Two years ago, we first met in Dalian Open. Two years later, we have witnessed her development and charm, which is more international and professional.

       47 players from 16 countries and regions have left their own marks on the tennis courts of Dalian Open during the 8-day competition starting from September 3 to September 10, plenty of whom have come to Dalian and participated in the Open more than once. During this Open, the Organizing Committee has done its most and received unexpected positive comments and feedback.

Integration of players’ accommodation, trainings and competition

       Phoenix hotel, designated hotel by the event, has provided professional, five-star, and high-quality services for players. It only takes three minutes from the hotel to the stadium. Therefore, players can travel to and fro between the hotel and training courts within minutes with Quanzai cars. ‘The hotel service is very attentive. What surprises me the most is that it only takes me several minutes from the hotel to the tennis courts’, the player said, ‘I wish I would have the opportunity to come to Dalian and participate in the competition again next year’.

High-standard central court

       ‘This is the best tennis stadium in the northeast part of China’, said Han Xinyun in the interview, ‘it is like coming back home every time I participate in the Open here’. This straightforward girl from Jinzhou marveled at the central court of Dalian Open. The court of Tebon Securities Tennis Center, which can hold approximately ten thousand audiences, is one of the largest tennis courts in the Northeast. The court excels in visual impact for its blue and green color-match. Moreover, plus 14 training courts and 2 courts for semifinals which can hold approximately one thousand audiences, the hardware facilities of Dalian Open is not in the least inferior to other domestic competitions.

The most considerate services provided by volunteers

       Volunteers from Dalian University of Foreign Languages have added colors to the service level of this Open. Their fluency in English has eliminated language barriers that inhibit players from seeking services and help. These carefully selected volunteers have not only experienced the charm of tennis and advanced the progress of the Open, but also made friends with players. Zhang Yuxuan, who got through the qualifying competition, hugged the volunteers at the service desk after she lost to her opponent in the tie-break set in the first round. She promised, ‘I will come again next year!’
